Expertic Collectibles
Nutcrackers have been a popular craft item for a long time. Many are made in Germany, but they are also popular in other countries. In recent years many are imported from China; a fact the seller may or may not choose to tell you!
They come in all sizes and shapes with the newer ones often being larger. I believe Costco even offered them during the Christmas season in 2007. We have only collected older German ones. All those shown on this site have the "Expertic" sticker, indicating they were made in East Germany.

This Expertic nutcracker stands just over 12” (36 cm) tall. He is heavy & well made, but showing some age. As you will see from a close examination of the pictures, he is missing one eye and there are assorted paint chips & rubs. He would clean up some with a careful washing, ... MORE>>> |

This Expertic nutcracker stands 10 1/2” (26 cm) tall & is in good condition for his age. He has a nice, large Expertic tag on the base and his hair feels like real fleece. He has lost some paint, especially on the front of his cap, but in otherwise good condition. |

This Expertic nutcracker is 9 1/2” (24 cm) tall and in good condition. He has fallen on his nose a few times which is why he looks like a teenage with an acne problem there. His right arm is attached with a loose wooden peg, so it can swing and fall off. ... MORE>>> |
